Only the instructor or company staff are allowed to reserve this instructor error when trying to book instructor

If you receive an error when booking an instructor that states "Only the instructor or company staff are allowed to reserve this instructor" you are able to remove this restriction by editing the instructor's work schedule.

 

Note: If the instructor is yourself, you will need the Edit My Own Work Schedule permission.  If the instructor is someone else, you will need the Edit All Work Schedules permission.

 

To remove this restriction, first click on the Instructors tab (Note: The Manage Resources permission is required to access and edit instructors):

 

 

Next, locate the instructor who's work schedule you want to edit, click the down arrow next to their name, and select Work Schedule:

 

 

Next, select Edit Shifts:

 

 

Then uncheck the box next to "Only the instructor or company staff are allowed to reserve this instructor" and save your changes:

 

 

Note that you are also able to access your own work schedule from your profile.  From the home page/Dashboard, click "My Profile":

 

Next, select Account Settings>Work Schedule:

 

 

Next, select Edit Shifts:

 

 

Then uncheck the box next to "Only the instructor or company staff are allowed to reserve this instructor" and save your changes:

 

 

And you are done!
