Overview
Multi-course programs like Career Tracks or Zero-to-Hero require the Training Programs feature to track progress across courses. This article explains how to enable and use Training Programs.
Why It Matters
Tracking multi-course programs ensures visibility into progress and performance, simplifying management and improving data accuracy for long-term training offerings.
Enabling Training Programs
Access Settings: Go to Settings > Training Hub and click on the Programs row. A list of existing programs will be displayed.
Click the Add Program button.
Create a Program:
If you are ready to enroll students, change the status to Live.
Click Save.

Enrolling Students in Programs
Add Students: Navigate to the Students list, click the Enroll a Student dropdown, and select Add to Program. Alternatively, go to the Course Enrollments page of a student’s profile and click the Enroll dropdown button, then select Add to Program.
Select Students and Program: In the Add to Training Program view, select the student(s) or group. Choose the desired training program.
Timeline: Select the appropriate timeline.
Fill out the expected start date and an expected end date for the program. Be sure to back date the start date if adding an existing student with course progress to a program.
Save: Click Save and Next to proceed with course enrollment, or Save and Close to add students to the program without immediate course enrollment or adding to a package.
Important Notes:
Students can only be in one training program at a time.
Students can only be added to Live training programs.
If you clicked Save and Next:
The Enroll in Course tab will appear with the selected students and the first course in the program selected by default. Adjust as needed and click Save and Next to add to a billing package or Save and Close to enroll in the course.
If you are not ready to enroll in a course, click Skip.
Students will be enrolled in the latest version of a course if a new version is available.
If you clicked Save and Next on the Enroll in Course tab:
Thee Add to Package tab will appear with the selected students. Complete the fields and click Save and Close to finalize.
If only one student was selected, a Save and Add Invoice button will be available.
Required Permissions:
Add Student Enrollments: To access the Add to Program workflow.
Manage Invoices: To add students to Billing Packages.
Add Invoices: To access the Save and Add Invoice option.
