Prerequisites
Setup any desired Online Ground School Integrations and enable the desired courses.
Setup Packages with at least one package that contains an online ground school course.
Description
When an online ground school course is added to a package and a student is added to that package, an invoice still needs to be created to redeem the course which gives them access to the course. The invoice for the online ground school (OGS) course is also the point in time when a course is considered sold. If the invoice is accidentally missed, a student could still purchase the course via the storefront or could delay the start of their training. By enabling auto billing for online ground school courses your staff saves time and ensures no student ever gets missed.
Step by Step
Navigate to Settings > Billing Hub > Auto Billing
Scroll down to Auto Bill for Online Ground School in Packages and toggle Auto bill for all online ground courses in a package once a user is added to a package to yes.
Save
When a user is added to a package via an invoice, add to package or in the add to program workflow, the second invoice for the OGS course will automatically be created and auto billed based on your autobilling timeline (immediately, overnight, overnight one-day-late, or on a certain day of the month). The user will get the notification email to connect their ground school account if they haven’t already when the invoice is completed.
Permission Needed
Manage Company Settings is needed to update auto billing settings.
