You can find a student who is training at your company by navigating to the Students page and applying filters relevant for the student.
Step by Step
To locate a student at your company, complete these steps:
- Select Students from the left navigation area. The Students page is displayed.
- To narrow the list to a specific student or group of students, click the Customer / Group filter. For a specific student, click the Customers tab and start typing in the name of the student. For a specific group of students, click the Groups tab and start typing in the name of the group. Select the desired student or group. The list is narrowed to the selected student or group.
- To narrow the list to students for a specific instructor(s), click the Instructor filter. Start typing the instructor’s name, check the box(es) next to the instructor whose students you want to view, then click Apply. The list is narrowed to only students for the selected instructor(s).
- Note: If you are an instructor at the company, then your name is selected by default for the Instructor filter. Otherwise, all instructors are selected by default.
- To narrow the list to students who are associated to a specific course(s), click the Course filter. Start typing the course name, check the box(es) next to the course(s) you want to view students for, then click Apply. The list is narrowed to only students who have an enrollment status for the selected course(s).
- Note: Only Active and Inactive courses are available to select.
- To narrow the list to students who have been added to a specific training program(s), click the Program filter. Start typing the program name, check the box(es) next to the program(s) you want to view students for, then click Apply. The list is narrowed to only students who have been added to the selected program(s).
- Note: Only Active and Inactive programs are available to select.
- To narrow the list to students with a specific enrollment status, click the Enrollment Status filter. Start typing the status name, check the box(es) next to the status(es) you want to view students for, then click Apply. The list is narrowed to only students who have the selected status(es) for any course.
- Notes:
- The Enrolled status is selected by default.
- Future Course applies to a course if the course is included in a training program, a student has been added to the program, and the student has not yet been enrolled in the course. See Set Up Training Programs for more information about multi-course training programs.

- To narrow the list to students with a specific progress status, click the Progress Status filter. Start typing the status name, check the box(es) next to the status(es) you want to view students for, then click Apply. The list is narrowed to only students who have the selected status(es) for any course.
- Note: Progress Status is only applicable for students who have been enrolled in a course and who had a Progress Profile assigned for that enrollment.
- Click Clear if you want to clear all filter selections and start over.
Permission Needed
- You must have Training Hub enabled in order to view a list of students.
- The Students list can be viewed only by the following users:
- Instructors
- Users with the permission View All Student Enrollments
