Prerequisites
- Payment links settings need to be enabled and defaults configured.
- The user you want to send a payment link to must have permission to make purchases on account.
Step by Step
- Create the invoice as you normally would for any other payment method - via the reservation or stand alone invoice in Billing > Actions > Add Invoice.
- Proceed to Payment
- Select Account as the payment method
- The default payment links settings will auto fill but can be edited if needed by clicking on the calendar for the due by date or checking/unchecking the auto pay option.
- Complete the Sale
- Email Receipt
- The invoice will now show on the user's dashboard in FSP and they will receive the outstanding invoice via email. They can click on the Make Payment button on the dashboard, any of the invoice numbers on the dashboard and the Pay Now button on the emailed receipt to pay for the invoice.
