Ground School integrations allow you to become a reseller for the ground school provider and offer a view within Flight Schedule Pro of student progress in those external courses.
Step By Step
To set up a ground school integration, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings and click Integrations. A list of integrations—including ground school options—is displayed.
- Click the ground school integration you want to enable. The ground school integration page for the selected ground school provider is displayed.
- Click View to Approve for the Reseller Agreement. Carefully review the terms and conditions of being a reseller. If you agree to these terms, click Agree. The Integration Toggle is now enabled.
- Click the integration toggle to turn it ON. The list of available ground school courses is now enabled.
- Check a course that you want to sell to your students. An Add Item view is displayed.
- Most fields in the Add Item view will be pre-populated for the ground school course you want to sell. Complete the remaining required fields and any other fields you want to define for the new ground school billing item.
- Click Save. A new Products & Services billing item is created. You can now start adding this item to invoices and selling it to your students.
- Repeat Steps 5–7 for all ground school courses you want to sell.
- Notes:
- If you turn off the ground school integration, the ground school billing item(s) you previously saved will be automatically inactivated.
- You can also inactivate an individual ground school item without turning the entire integration off. To inactivate a ground school item and prevent it from being sold in future invoices, simply uncheck the corresponding course box on the ground school integration page.
- While you can technically return an invoice containing a ground school item, this is not recommended, as sales for digital products are considered final.
- Once a ground school item has been sold to a student, the student can then connect their ground school account to their Flight Schedule Pro account. Their progress within the ground school course will then be available within Flight Schedule Pro. Permission Needed
- You must have Billing Hub enabled in order to turn on a ground school integration.
- You must have Training Hub enabled in order to see student progress for ground school courses.
- You must have the permission Manage Company Settings in order to enable a ground school integration.
