How to Setup Payrix MFA
Payrix has Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to add an extra layer of security and verification when logging into the Payrix portal. After setting MFA up, your device can be remembered for 30 days if you are not on a shared computer and do not want to MFA every time. If you share a Payrix login, contact FSP support for a login for each person. MFA can be setup with a phone number to receive a text or an authenticator app (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Okta Verify or RSA SecurID).
SMS
1. When selecting Text (SMS) you will then be prompted to confirm the phone number on your profile.
1.a. (optional) If your phone number is incorrect, click Modify to change the number, and then click Confirm
2. After Clicking Confirm, you will be sent the following SMS text message to the number you’ve confirmed:
“Payrix Verification Code: Use this one-time verification code to complete sign-in: XXXXXX. Do NOT share this code with anyone. This code is valid for 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out.”
3. Use this code to authenticate and complete the MFA enrollment.
Authenticator App
1. Download Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Okta Verify or RSA SecurID from your app store or open the existing app on your phone.
2. Scan the QR code on your screen to setup your device.
Warning: If you reply “STOP” to opt out of the SMS messaging, you will not receive another MFA verification code until you text the same phone number “START” to opt back into the SMS messaging.
If you are unable to login after you have setup MFA because you got a new phone number or device, contact FSP support to have MFA reset.
