My QBO item is not showing up as an option in Settings

When you are trying to set up or update your QBO integration settings and an option you made in QBO is not showing in FSP - it likely is not set up properly in QBO to populate in the field in FSP.

Where are these settings?

Under settings, integration, and QBO, in the specific settings option for the integration.
Under the settings for the QBO sync, the items must be income accounts with the detail type of discounts/refunds given.

You can set this up in QBO by going to new non-inventory item

Add your item such as account payment etc. and create an income account with the proper detail type:

If you are having persistent issues, we highly recommend starting a new item with a new income account following these steps.


Product/Service Items


Most commonly the issue with Product/Service items (or Customers!) not showing their QBO option is due to the product/service being inactive in QBO.
But should it be active, just verify that they are associated to an income account in QBO such as the QBO default of Sales:
