Inventory Hub allows you to create Parts and Stock Records. A part is essentially something that would exist in a catalog. It should be something that you order and reorder and something that you want to carry stock of. Stock Records represent a unique instance of a part at a given location, condition, status, and price.

Key Concepts

  • Quantity is required and cannot be greater than 1 if the part is serialized

  • Unit of Measure will be adopted from the part and cannot be changed

  • Status is required and will default to your system's default Stock Record Status

  • Condition is required and will default to your system's default Condition

    • Be sure to select the correct condition based on condition type. Only conditions of type airworthy will be included in your quantity on hand counts

  • Serial Number is required if the part is serialized

  • Inventory Location is required and will default to your system's default Inventory Location

  • Bins can be created and assigned on the fly and you can use the same name across inventory locations

  • Buy Cost should be populated if you want to track accurate inventory value

  • Sell Price will be used when invoicing

  • Expiration dates can be entered and will alert once past due based on your Stock Record Alert Settings
